Raziel was born on the nuclear-blasted desert moon of Baal Secundus, his parents scavengers like his all tribe. Their only blessing was to be untainted, untouched by the mutations so common among the population. At the age of 10, among many perils he crossed the wastelands and reached the place of Challenge, where he won the gladiatorial contest, and earned the honor of becoming a Blood Angel, mostly thanks to his prideful demeanour and his latent psychic powers.
During the many years of service, he distinguished himself as a dauntless warrior, with no fear for the Xeno nor the Warp. The highest accolades he earned during the Scouring of Ultramar, where he single-handedly defeated a Tyranid Carnifex.
